manna spring retreat: proof that the Holy Spirit exists, realization of all the blessings i have in this community, a strong support group, my amazing 09 class and our monster epic sharing times, snowball wars so dirty that i had to take my first shower at retreat, girl talk after we conceded mafia, spinach dip!!!!, undulating slugmonster, covenental monargism, and a lesson for next retreat, to bring lots of kleenex and a new pair of contacts ;)

i've been on a semi-murderous rampage since last night's game, partly because of the loss and partly because i'm sick of looking at this monster orgo book. but then i had to add oil to the fire and click on the video at nola.com titled "bears fans hurl katrina insults" and proceed to watch the entire thing. they made signs that read "what katrina didn't finish, we will" and other amazingly classy placards like that. the reporters asked for saints fans' experience in chicago: "oh, you're from new orleans? how are you gonna get down there? in a boat? too bad you didn't drown." and during a live broadcast, they shouted expletives and pushed the girls being interviewed. real good, chicago. i have lost all respect for bears fans and the city of chicago. make fun of our team, fine. gloat, fine. but once you start talking about katrina, it gets personal. i'd never wish anything as horrible as katrina's destruction on anyone, but this time, i'm tempted. i hope that the colts and peyton manning (that's right, new orleans represent) demolish your team. disgusting.
